No. Some people think that it is a shame that the owner of an OOP book that originally cost $50 can resell it for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The book owner profits, and the author sees no benefit from the book\’s increased value.
Other people think that\’s just economic reality; if the author/copyright owner had published more books, then scarcity and after-market price inflation wouldn\’t be such a problem now.
What does this have to do with the Copyright Act? Nothing. It\’s a moral issue.
